TOPIC: Pre-Sales for CMigrator

Hi,
I am moving a Wordpress site to Joomla. However, all I am looking to transfer successfully is the user information and passwords. I understand the encryption for Wordpress passwords and Joomla passwords are different. Will CMigrator translate the encryption and will the users be able to keep their current passwords?

Also, I do not want to transfer any content -- are there options to disallow this?

Hey Ocean,
You can transfer just the users (there is an option for this).
CMigrator comes with an authentication plugin. This plugin is responsible for login the user in and updating his password to the Joomla format. So yes, once you do the migration and you enable this plugin your users will be able to login and won't even notice that something is different. The Plugin will update the passwords in the background and everyone will be happy
