I've been looking at a number of event extensions, and this seems to be a perfect match. However, I just wanted to confirm several questions that I had.
1. Can users with an account see their past history of event registration and attendance?
2. If they can pull up their past history, is there a limit to the history? (Limited by time - events in the last month, year, etc?)
3. Can certificates only be printed by the user one time or could they print the attendance certificates as needed from the attendance history?
4. Attendance certificates can only be printed when the attendee has been marked as attending the event. Is that correct? IE, they cannot print a certificate if they cancelled their reservation or skipped the event.
5. Is the account profile information used to pre-populate information for users that have an account?
6. Can users that do not have an account register for an event? (Different form or a form without pre-populated fields.)
7.Can a time-limit be set for an event for user cancellations? For instance, can you configure an event that allows cancellations up to 48hrs prior to the start of the event? (Trying to reduce the number of last minute cancellations.)
Thank you in advance. I think this looks like a great product.

Hi Steve,

sorry for the late response.

1.) Yes they can - every registered user can see their old bookings, invoices, tickets etc. in their own area - non joomla users (guests) get a unique address where they can also check their old booking.

2.) No limit

3.) They can print it as often they want on their booking details page (After they got certificated and the event is over)

4.) Yes that's correct.

5.) Yes you can prepopulate fields with Joomla profile data or Community Builder informations (more to come)

6.) Yes they can (if you allow that).

7.) Yes you can set that in the Matukio settings - default is one day (but you can change that to any value like or completely disable it).

Kind regards,

Yves

Thanks for taking the time to follow up and answer the questions. Believe this will be the perfect extension for our app. Working with admin to purchase and install! Thank you.

Can you provide instructions on how a "registered user can see their old bookings, invoices, tickets etc. in their own area" as you mentioned in #1? I don't see these steps in your docs, and I don't see a module that I can add to a page with "registered" permissions.

Hi Marty,

as a logged in joomla user there is an additional button / filter on the left side in the event-list overview called my bookings. When you hit that all your bookings are shown and for each there is a link to the booking detail page where you the user can get the invoice, tickets, certificate, booking informations and much more (like edit or pay their booking, when it's not over yet).

Kind regards,

Yves

Hi Yves. Thank you for the very quick response!

I was hoping for an way to include the content of the "My Bookings" page as a module in another page. We have other components for registered users and are showing their content as modules on a centralized "registered users" page. Is there any way to get that content as a module?

In the meantime, I have created a link to page by using the same link you have in the "My Bookings" page. That seems to work as a workaround.

Thanks for your help!

Hmm, no currently not - why would you like it as module? ;-)

Yep you can always use an external link as workaround - pointing directly to "My bookings".

Kind regards,

Yves

Our website has two main components: Your component for booking live events, and Guru for subscribing online learning classes. We want registered users to be able to see their bookings and certificates from both components, in one place. If we have this feature as a module, we can show this on our central "registered users" page. This will keep users from having to go to multiple places for their information.
