We have some events in EURO countries, others in Switzerland.

Therefore some events would need to be priced in CHF, others in EURO. So here are our questions

- Can that be implemeented with Matukio?
- Can this be adjusted by the "organizer"
- and/or is it possible to show dual pricing e.g. an event with EUR/CHF

Thanks.

Hi Andreas,

- Can that be implemeented with Matukio?

You would need to change some code for that - but i also added it to the wishlist, shouldn't be hard to integrate into Matukio.

You can of course always show your individual text / informations beside the fee.

Kind regards,

Yves

Just checking ... still interested .... B)
Are there any new developments on currencies on the horizon?

It is strange that in a global village the issue of multiple currencies isn't addressed. In my view all it takes is variable instead of constant when it comes to the currency descriptor. But then - I am not a programmer. :P

Hi,

We also need multi-currency capability, urgently. We run events in several Asian locations and usually price in US$, but Indonesia has just made it illegal to quote/charge for goods and services in anything other than local currency.

Any idea when this will be incorporated?

Cheers,

Brett

Good day I need multi currency as well (EURO; GBP and CHF)

How can this be done? If you Matukio can not handle this that would be a shame.

Feedbacis welcome.

Best regards

Remy

You currently can't. I have it on the wishlist, but this is nothing done in a minute and an extremely complex topic. Matukio does not only show fees, but also process payments, taxes, creates invoices etc. Doing this all correctly with multiple invoices is nothing done in a minute.

With Matukio 5.3 (beginning next year) it is going to be possible to have multiple currencies (one per event) with matching taxes.

Kind regards,
Yves

That is quite sufficient for our needs.
One currency per event should make it easier to programme, as in such a case all that needs to be added is a selection box for the currency symbol in each event.
I guess the real issue is with the taxes (for those who need that option) - taxes would be in different currencies as well. Thus you wouldn't be able to simply add taxes from various events (or the income for that matter).... But then --- Matukio is not meant to be a book keeping / accounting tool. ;-)
