Hi,
I am very keen on becoming a user of Matukio.
My first question is about how to handle multible language versions on the same site.
In the demo you give access to there is only one site language installed.
Does Matukio operate just as if it was an article. With building associations between events?

Hi Vilhelm,

you have multiple ways to implement multiple languages, either with Matukio itself (every displayed item is parsed through Jtext - so you can for example choose as title -> MY_TITLE_XY and translate it with a language override into multiple languages).

The other "normal" way is just separating the different languages with different menu entries, categories etc. (the downside is that you would need events you want to show one time for each language).

Kind regards,

Yves

Hi Yves, Thank you for the reply. I get it. In theory :-) I'll give it a go.
I am thinking about throwing Articles Anywhere into the mix.
Then I could store the main description in an article in the proper language. It might make the JTEXT solution more doable.
Thanks.

I am trying to put this into action.
For example I have a CATEGORY - and I want the name of the category to be displayed in multible language.
The way I understand it all I need to do is to give the Category a name and then do a language override?
So in the Category Title I write: ##MY_CATEGORY_TITLE##
And in the Language Override I make an entry called: MY_CATEGORY_TITLE with the value of My Awesome Category.
But obviously this is not the way as it does not work.
So exactly how does it work please?

Best regards
Vilhelm
