TOPIC: More predefined mainfields in event presentation

For the invent info / Lack of default Event info: (In most systems we have come around there's as per default, very little info possibilities. about the event)
As predefined fields when creating a new event we need:
1: Main-tittle (Event-name), (Is here already) ..
But then, fields we miss..:
2: Sub-tittle, Short explanation reg the event.
3: The person who performs / (singer / lecturer - what ever)

... and then the allready mentioned, location, category. which also all-ready are here.
Can extra fields be "easily" created here?? *Without coding knowledge..
I find the issue mentioned, but then again, one refer to "bookingfields" And its not booking, but "event presentation page" we are concerned about.

Hi Kim,

hm sure you can change the code, but you would need some sort of table for saving the data into.

With Matukio 5.2 we are going to have event specific custom fields (which can be shown on different positions all around matukio, like in the event detail page etc.), so if you are not in a hurry that should be the solution you are looking for.

what is the release date for this 5.2 version you mention?

we currently don't have one - in the next couple of days (at least before christmas) we are going to release Matukio 5.1.

After that we are going to work on Matukio 5.2, which is not going to have so many big new features, so it won't be long.

After having started up in November, with firs WP and then another Joomla eventsystem, I have, after tried the demo, the feeling yours software is a step ahead, and I have bought Matukio today.
As mentioned the only feature we miss are custom-fields at the event, which you mention will come with the next release.
I attach a "Photoshop" edited event-layout the way we need the presentation.
I hope this will be possible in the upcoming version?

Hi there,
More or less the same wish for me. I want to show the organizer and the tutors. The organizer, in my case, should be the person that creates and manage events (the joomla user) and he or she must be able to select one or more tutors. It would also be nice if visitors can select events by tutor.
Since this is en old topic I make a new one.
