TOPIC: Is this option available?

Hello,

I whave a presale question and i cannot find it in the documentation or screenshots.

My situation:
I want to make a map with stores in different categories.
That's all possible with Hotspots, but.

I would like to add an extra category with available jobs of these stores.

How this would work perfectly:
I would like to make an article in a category and this category works within this map and articles get added automated.

It sees this is not possible. Is there anyway to get this the way i like it?
y customers don't want to make an extra marker because they will forget to add or reove them
If they can add articles that also would coe back in the ap would be perfect.

Is this at all possible or maybe a good option for upcoming releases?

Hey Jeffrey,

You'll need some custom code for this. For example you can get someone to create a custom content plugin that after the article is saved will create a marker in Hotspots. Now the issue I see with this is -> there is no field in com_content that stores the latitude and longitude information. So how are we supposed to know where exactly this marker should go? This is also the main reason I haven't written such a plugin myself - it is more of a custom issue, than a global one.

Yeah i know it's a very specific option.
Because the map works with several plugins it was worth a try.

Untill now i found plugins that adds articles to maps, but these have no category and does not work as nice as your plugin.

It would be awesome to fill in map data and icon in an article
Is there an option to custom code this for us?
There is a budget and it could be a nice extra function for your plugin
