TOPIC: Tiles question

hi, i m interested in the tiles module
however i need some extra features that seem not to be present on the demo..

i need on right/left click, that the tile panel changes, the tiles to have a different move transition.. like on the www.goldmansachs.com
is this possible..??

What do you mean with the tile panel changes?

And you can set any move transition that is supported by the Fx.Transition modules (you set this in the module).

My offer to you is - get the subscription, if you can't get it to work to your satisfaction just say so and I'll refund you.

as you may notice in the effect that takes place in the link that i gave you, apart from the screen change where all the tiles move to the left or to the right and new tiles come in the front, each tile by itself makes a transition effect, moving in a different time than the total screen..

i mean you see the effect begining by each tile starting moving to the left or to the right, and until all get outof the screen and get replaced by the new tile screen..

i hope it is more understandable know..
so as long as it can mimic the effect the exact way www.goldmansachs.com tile is doing, it seems good to me and i can go on with a subscription

Yes, I saw that, but Tiles can't currently do this. All tiles move with a transition effect, not individual tiles.

Well, I like the effect and I've added this to the feature list for the next release. However I can't commit to a deadline right now.

i m really interested in that feature addition, even if it meant that there could be an extra subscription fee to support your work to have it delivered earlier with decent support..
btw does it support k2? fetching k2 items?

No, we currently don't have this. It doesn't even have articles support.
The issue with this is -> when we take the tile from an article -> what should we use for background?

the ideal layout in my opinion would be as following..

on the backend to have an option to select how many different slides will the slideshow have for instance 4..
then on each slide to be able to select specific articles,k2 items to fetch, so the slide will be consisted of the exact article/item tiles that the user has selected
for instance
slide 1 tiles 1,2,3,4,5 from articles a,b,c,d,e
slide 2 tiles 1,2,3,4,5 from articles f,g,h,i,j

background the easiest way to go would be colour selection or for more complex fetchig one image from each article..but also this could be easily modified by a developer through css..

more complex would be along with article/item selection to be image selection, but this would require extra work to be done..

i have noticed though several requests over the web for module with that particular effect, both in joomla and in wordpress..
