TOPIC: Fatal error

Dear Sirs,

the free core installation gives me following error on a Joomla 3.11 installation:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate abstract class ccommentComponentPlugin in /mounted-storage/home115a/sub002/sc67093-EDUV/antifono.gr/252/components/com_comment/helpers/utils.php on line 80

Before we buy (we have previously bought Joomlacomments)we would like to be sure, that the component works for us.

Could you please, shed some light on the mentioned problem

Which PHP version are you running? Is it at least php 5.3?

Sorry to bother you more, but we definitely need your help, because your extension is the only alternative for us. We come from JoomlaComment on Joomla 1.5 and have a table with about 10.000 comments in store that must move to the upgraded site. Moreover, we need the pro version because of the modules included. (We present 10 latest comments separately on the front).

Problem is, that core does not work. As a result of the fatal error, we cannot see the comments or manage them and the plugin does not load under the articles. (As a result, Komento free does).

Also there is no php 5.3.42. And where exactly do you get this error message? Backend, frontend? In which component?

Did you get my mail from yesterday? I would need access to phpmyadmin, because your db structure is most probably not correct.
