Danke

I am using Seminar V 1.3 and need to change to a Jommla 2.5 compatible Tool. Actually we have about 40 published Events for this year with lots of allready booked events.
Is there a chance to get the Data from Seminar 1.3 (or the MySQL-Database that i can access) to Matukio???
I don't want to transfer all bookings (round about 300) by hand to any new system - neither can my customers.

Perhaps there is a way - finally Matukio has been developed from Seminar V1.3

Thanks

Thomas

Hey Thomas,
Currently there is no import script that can make the process in 1 click. However with a little manual work you'll be able to get your seminars and bookings in Matukio.
You'll need to copy the seminar tables in your joomla 2.5, then rename them to #__matukio (where #__ is your table prefix) and then install matukio. Now the only problem would be the categories. You'll need to manually create those again. And then update the seminar table with the correct categories. Basically this is all - better instructions are available in the matukio forum.

An import script is on the todo list for 2.2...

Regards,
Daniel
