TOPIC: Reply to comments by admin?

Hello. I have 2 questions:
1. How can moderators of a site (admin) reply to a specific comment at backend and frontend?
I set the nested comments setting to ONLY MODERATORS, and also set my moderators group to SUPER USERS, but still I don't know how to reply to a comment? In the frontend I can't see any option to do that and also more important, in the backend I can't find any way to reply a comment as an admin. Of course I am aware of the edit section for each comment in the MANAGE COMMENTS (backend), but there is not also any option there to reply directly to that comment. (Or at least I don't know how)

2. My site is new, so there are'nt many visitors for it yet. Is there any way that each time someone leaves a comment, I receive an Email in my mailbox to notify me (admin) so that I can publish the new comment as fast as possible?

Forgive me for my long question.

1. There is a bug in RC2 and the "only moderators" option doesn't work as exptect. (it is already fixed in the dev. release)

2. In the backend, go to the security screen and set notify moderators to yes. Then the moderator group should receive a mail each time users post comments.

Are you posting the test comment as a guest user? If you post a comment with the user that is member of the moderator group you won't receive a mail.


If that is not the case, then I'll need access to your site to check your settings and debug.

Yes. You're right. I get the point. My email problem is solved for now. Thanks for answer.
But is there any way to reply a comment from backend? (I found how to reply from frontend).
