TOPIC: It`s impossible to create CATEGORIES

Dear COMPOJOOM,

I just installed my HOTSPOTS 5.0.2 in a new joomla 3.3 website and "save" bottom does not works enought in categories. It means I can't create any category and I can`t use the component.
Please, could you be so kind to help me with it?. Thanks!!.

Please create a private ticket and provide me with access to your site and I'll have a look. The saving should no longer be an issue with 5.0.2. Do you get any error message or the save buttton just does nothing?

I finally uninstalled hotspots and joomla too, and reinstalled both.
Now hotspots 5.0.2 looks works propertly and there are no problems with bottoms; but ones hotspots is installed it's completly impossible to upload any multimedia file from joomla panel.
In the other hand, is doesn't work propertly using Harthor-default Administrator templete.
Please, it's really important find a solution for the problem uploading media files. Could you please help with that?.

Uploading media files? Where? In the categories, or when you create a hotspot?

It's not possible to upload media files in joomla, not in the app. Instead, I detected just some minutes ago that is impossible to create articles categories too.

The problem is generated by "Content - Hotspots Category (don't turn off!)" plugin. If you turn in off, no problem happend creating article categories or uploading multimedia files.

Interesting, I fixed a bug related to this on joomla 2.5. But I never had the issue on joomla 3.3

The bugfix will be in 5.0.3 later today.

Maybe you would like to know that in map, when you click on any location and appear the red icon, if you click on a second one in doesn't disapear the red mark in the first one.

I think that it is the scroll function in your template. It overrides the code in hotspots and because of this it causes an error in hotspots. Try to turn it off in your template and see if the scroll is then working as expected.
