I may have missed this setting.

Currently have K2 items displaying on a HotSpot map. I customize the icons within HotSpot to change from the category default to other various icons within a category.

If I update a K2 item the icon on HotSpot reverts back to the category default.

How do I prevent this from happening?

Thank you in advance.

that is possible. The params are not available in k2, so when we save the hotspots the params object is empty and that is basically deleting the value that was previously stored in it.
I'll look into this. Why are you updating the icon? what's your use case?

Regards,
Daniel

Background: I am using this for a very large Olympics style event in Washington, D.C. I have a category for all sports venues - about 60 of them. Within the venues they are assigned to 8 bus transportation hubs. The idea was the have a generic large venue icon but with 8 different colors to associate that venue to a transportation hub. This would limit the number of categories and keep venues together. It's a visual thing.

So once I had all the venues linked to K2 and then manually changed the icon on Hotspots, if I update that sports venue the icon would revert back to the generic icon assigned on Hotspots and not keep the custom icon.

Hope that provides better insight.
