TOPIC: Front End user can't change published/unpublished

I would like a way for front end users to remove their hotspots from the map. I thought they could do this using the Publish/Unpublish setting, but when I try to unpublish from the front end it doesn't save. I can change from Unpublished to Published, but if I try to Unpublish nothing happens.

There is no error, even with Joomla debugging turned on. Any idea what is happening here?

Hey Elliott,
Users that submit through the frontend should not have any option to change the published/unpublished state (this should be an option for the admins only).

Hm, actually most probably the group that can post hotspots in frontend doesn't have the edit.own property set to true? Could you check this please?

Hi Daniel,

The user that is posting is Super Admin, and I've double checked that they have the correct permissions set (screenshot attached). This same user can unpublish from the backend, just not when editing through the frontend menu item.

Is it safe to use this version on our production site? Everything seems to be working fine, but the download contains the warning "DO NOT INSTALL ON PRODUCTION SITES!"
