Hello, I've been playing around with the Core version of Hotspots, and now it's time to go pro. I would like to be able to include the hotspots map within a module and noticed that a Developers version in December 2014 had this feature....hotspotsanywhere. Is this feature now available in the Official release of Hotspots Pro?

Thanks for the help!

Hey Brian,
Yes, it's part of the pro package.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello again,

I am attempting to place the Hotspot Pro map on my front page. I think I am missing something. Here's what I tried:
1) Went to plugin manager and enabled Content - Hotspots Anywhere
2)Created a Custom HTML module
3) Put the following into the source code of the Custom Html: {hotspotsanywhere}
4) Saved new module.
5) Placed module on front page.
6) Just seeing the words: {hotspotsanywhere}

Thanks.
Brian

In the custom module there is an option I think in the advanced tag called: "content prepare". This needs to be turned off for joomla to apply the content plugins on your module.

Daniel

Hi again Daniel,

No luck. The Content Prepare option is off but the words {hotspotsanywhere} are still showing up on the page inside the module container.
The text area of the module doesn't have any other html, just {hotspotsanywhere}. Should I be adding something else?
The map itself does appear to be working great on it's own, just not on the front page.. If I click on the link I created in the top navigational menu, it goes to a page with the working map on it.

the content prepare option should be on, not off.

Hello.
where there are instructions for {hotspotsanywhere} ?
I found only
"You could use the Hotspotsanywhere plugin and specify the hash /lat/lng/z/cats/1;2;3" - that's good, but
1. how to hide the sidebar?
2. how to style map?

Hey Paul,
The Hotspots anywhere plugin should be taking the configuration values from your map menu. So if you make changes in the menu, they should be applied to the hotspotsanywhere plugin as well.

Daniel
