Hi,

i have a site with seblod map that shows 'articles' from seblod on a google map.
Would it be possible to combine this with Hotspot?

Maybe if i name the fields according too hotspots, or adjust hotspot to show the list with the articles from the seblod list/search...

It would make a perfect combination...

Greetings,
Joris

Hotspots uses its own table to store the locations for performance reasons. Where seblod uses the default com_content.
You would actually need a plugin that ads the article + the lat and lng coordinates into the hotspots table in order to use Hotspots. If you want to do this you could look at the k2 plugin that we have in the PRO version it does this thin. whenever the user posts a k2 article or edits one, we update the hotspots table with the entry.

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

thanks for your answer. I installed an old version to check it. The plugin says: This plugin allows you to link to K2 items from the hotspots backend

Maybe thats the old functionality. I will check out the code from the plugin.

Thanks,
Joris

No, that is not old functionality, but this is just a different plugin. This one just allows you in the backend to link to k2 items instead of hotspots full text.

Daniel
