Hi,

In my overview map, the startzoom values are not making a difference between 17 and 1. I set my map height to 450, and a startzoom value of 3 to 5 should be right. The startzoom is showing well in the individual hotspot maps though. Also, what would be the ideal start zoom value to get a specific location (City, State) centered on the overview map?
Thanks!
Arjun

Hey Arjun,
Look at the menu settings. You are centering based on the marker bounds and not on the defualt center and zoom in the config. Just change the config option in the menu and everything should work as you expect.

Thanks, Daniel.

It looks like the map shows well after a few refresh actions, but somehow I do not seem to location the option you were referring to. Was that in the map settings under components? While I am at this, could you please point out a method for integrating the map and hotpot list into a Joomla article? Right now, the hotspots is associated with a menu item, but it is not possible to add text to it: toledosattic.org/exhibits/toledo-sister-cities
Best regards,
Arjun

Check the description of the hotspots anywhere plugin. It will help you add the map to an article.

About the setting. Go to your joomla backend -> menus -> your menu -> find the hotspots menu item. Then look at the options tab for that item.
