Hi there!

I can't find how to use the language packs from Transifex. In which folder(s) should I put them? It seems the french translation was not finished some time ago. Is the french translation ok now?

Thanks!

Just install them as normal joomla extensions? You don't have to manually upload any of the files in the package.

Thank you for this fast answer, Daniel.

I indeed tried to install it as a joomla extension, but nothing seems to change on my map. Should I specify somewhere in the component that it should use this language pack? I'm trying this with the free version btw, as I need to be sure I can get the right language before purchasing the pro version.
Great work btw, except my little language problem, everything is very easy to understand and setup.

Still no way to use the languages packs. I gave it a try with the portuguese one, as it's close to fully translated, I install it as a regular joomla extension but everything remains in english.
The language debug console gives the following :
**Non chargé** : JROOT/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_hotspots.ini
**Chargé** : JROOT/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_hotspots.ini
**Chargé** : JROOT/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_hotspots.ini
**Non chargé** : JROOT/administrator/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_hotspots.ini
**Non chargé** : JROOT/administrator/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.lib_compojoom.ini
**Non chargé** : JROOT/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.lib_compojoom.ini
**Non chargé** : JROOT/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.lib_compojoom.ini
**Chargé** : JROOT/language/en-GB/en-GB.lib_compojoom.ini

"Non chargé" meaning not loaded, and "chargé" loaded. The french files obviously don't load.

Ahahah it wooorks!

Okay I just found an old post of yours, mentionning that only 100% completed language files were loaded. So I logged on to transifex, finished the frontend file translation, and it now works like a charm. I guess I just gotta buy your extension, hi-5 you on JED and keep translating the french pack =)

Cheers!

Hey Franck,
Glad, that you've figured it out (and thanks for hi-5ving me :))! I had a look at the hotspots config for the language packs and packs with 80% are added to the package. Every lang file that is below that number will not be added to the package. (at least this is how it is configured)

Regards,
Daniel
