TOPIC: add joomla users to mailchimp

hi
if i add my joomla users to mailchimp using the cmc component, the users get a sign in email. some respond to the email and are added to the mailchimp list while others don't. now if in a weeks time, more users register on my site and i use the cmc component again to add my users to mailchimp. will the users that previously received an email but ignored it, get another email now?
just want to know if they do receive an email each time i add the users to mailchimp so i don't do it too often and end up spamming them.

Hm, not sure.If they have clicked on the link in the mail, then they are in your list. Not sure how mailchimp will treat them.
You'll have to creeate a new test user group -> add few users to it and test it out. I don't remember anymore how I coded - was few years ago. Let me know the result
