TOPIC: CMC User list does not update after J3 registrati

Hi there,

I have created API via mailchimp. Copied/pasted on to CMC options.
Copied pasted webhooks on to mailchimp.
Enabled system reigstraion CMC plugin for CMC to work with Joomla registration. Selected the joomla List.

My problem is after creating a joomla user, I cannot see the username info under CMC/users...

I can see the registered user under traditional joomla/users...

I have tried it using CMC module, it works seemlesly. I can see the CMC/users list when the user enters email and first name and last name. But this time it does not update the joomla/users.

The problem is with the Joomla registration and CMC integration. I am missing something here

Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong? Is there a way to combine joomla users with CMC users so that they are not seperate.

+updates: I cannot add groups to the CMC/users as well .

How do you create the user? Do you create it in the backend or in the frontend? The registration plugin ads itself to the frontend and shows a checkbox "newsletter" if the user selectes it, depending on your configuration more fields that are required for the registration will show. If you don't require anyhting else than email and mail, no addition fields will be shown.

When the user clicks register, then he will be added to your mailchimp list.

Also - it depends how you verify the registration. If you don't require the user to click a link in a confirmation mail, then mailchimp will send a mail to the user and will ask him to confirm his subscription to your list.

If you require the user to click the link in the confirmation mail, the user will be first added to your list when he confirms his registration.

I have managed to solve this issue.

I am actually setting up multi domain(multisite) virtual domains using virtual domain extension . Each domain will have a different mailchimp list.

Is this possible?
At the moment, I have the newsletter check-box in the registration process.

The problem with this is I will have the registration form shared throughout those virtual domains.
If an user goes to x.com, I want them to subscribe to the mailchim X list that I created using mailchimp manager.

Since I cannot have separate registration forms, it is impossible to assign different mail-chimp email lists for each virtual domain.
So what happens is ifan user goes to my x.com, he subscribes to the mailing list x
if the user goes to y.com, he subscribes to the mailing list x again.


I wanted to show cmc mailchimp module and assign it to different positions but it is not really integrated to the registration form. It creates a separate button like submit then i have the register button...
What would solve this issue?
