TOPIC: REgistration with jomsocial subscribe mailchimp

Hi,
we use Cmandrill and cmailchimp on our site.
www.motoraddict.be
We would like to include a field on our registration process.
The registration is based on jomsocial.
We have two languages on our site FR and NL
fr user need to receive the newsletter in fr same thing for nl but nl language.
Could you assist us to setup this ?
Could you give me a quote to make this change on our site if needed?

I have a good news for you. We are already working on this and the next version will have a plugin to integrate into the jomsocial registration.

What I suggest for you to do is in your registration form on mailchimp to set a select field for which language the user wants to register. Once we have the new version you could then show this during the registration and the user could select the language he is interested in.

Good news.
For now, how can i with your plugin automatically add the member to the correct list (fr or nl) ?
So the plugins automatically add the user to mailchimp, but is there a solution to add them to the good list ? I thought the segment, but don't really know how to setup this on joomla and your plugins.

I'm not sure that an automatic way will work with the current implementation of the plugin.

the plugin has nearly the same options as the module right now. You can select the fields that should be shown during the registration. The user on the other hand has a checkbox "newsletter" that he has to select and after that he is shown the "newsletter fields" he has to fill out (that is basically the stuff that you've configured in mailchimp).

If you want to subscribe users automatically to a newsletter, then you would need a custom solution.
