TOPIC: How to best continually add registered users

Hello. Daniel/Admin said there is currently no option to automatically register the user to a user group on registration. So my question is, if I manually go and do ADD GROUP > select REGISTERED USERS > then ADD GROUP NOW, I get the message:

Only users that are not subscribed to your lists will be added. Each user will receive an email asking him to confirm the subscription. Until he confirms it, that user won't show in the list

So since I will have to do it often to keep adding new registered users, will that send a MailChimp confirmation email EACH TIME I do this to the ones who have NOT subscribed?

Appreciate your help in finding the best way to get registered Joomla users onto the Mail Chimp list (which is why I'm using this component to begin with!)

That actually sounds as an interesting question The only way to find out what is going on is to test it, right?
My expectation was that the user would get a mail once... But that doesn't seem to be the case. The user will always get the opt-in email until he subscribes...
Not really optimal. (the other option would be to hack the code and remove the opt-in otpion, so that the user is auto subscribed for the newsletter, but I would not recommend this)
