TOPIC: Comments not expanded by default

I'm wondering if there is a setting that allows for comments to be expanded beneath the articles by default. Now all I see is the icon "Write comment (2 comments)" which I need to click in order to see the comments. I've tried a couple of templates, Protostar and Beez3 with the same results. Thanks for any help.

Hey Gerald,
Well, actually this is the default. However you are not looking at a single article view, but a category or frontpage with several articles there. If you change this page to be a single article, then the comments will show as expected.

Thank you for the quick reply, very impressive. Yes, I'm looking at a category with several articles, in this case, videos. I could turn the page into a single article with several videos but then I get a single expanded comment section at the bottom of the page. I'd like to have expanded comments beneath each video either within an article or within a category. Can that be done?

Well, that is the way it normally works. What you want is not possible with ccomment - you always get a single comment section for your comments.
