TOPIC: exclude or specific categories

How do I choose on which categories to show or not show the comments?

In the backend on the left side select Settings -> choose your component-> and then select the cats and categories where the component should show/be excluded from.

I tried. I included a category. the comment shows in the latest comments module, but it doesn't show on the page itself:

It seems that something is managing the scripts on your page and that something is removing the comment code from the page. That's why you don't see the comment system.

Try a different template to see if the comment system will show. If that doesn't work, then I would start disabling system plugins until the comment system loads. This way you can find out what's happening and decide how to proceed.
