Hi
I am interested in subscribing to the Pro component but I need some information first.
My client wants the author of each article to be responsible for the moderation of comments on that article. Is it possible to set up the component like that?

The option is called content creator moderator and it is available in the PRO version. The author of a specific article becomes the moderator - he can approve, unpublish, delete comments. And he would also get a mail when a new comment is submitted (if notifications are turned on)

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi
I have now purchased the Pro version but I cannot see where to set this up.

Also I don't want people to be able to post anonymously. How to I set it up that they must login?

Go to settings -> click on the component you want to configure(I would guess - com_content), then navigate to the security tab and down at the bottom you have "content creator moderator), set this to yes. On that same tab you have the option to determine who is able to post on your site. Set it to registered and all other user groups that should be able to post and then anonymous users won't be able to post comments.

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel
I have set this up but the moderation notifications are going to the site's global email address and not the author's email address.

You have global moderators (you can choose the group in the settings). Both the global moderators and the author of the content item should receive a mail letting them know that there is a new comment.
Are you using a cronjob to send the mails?

No, I am not using a cronjob. I added a test comment on an author's page and the notification came through to the global moderator but not the author of the content.
