Hi Daniel,

the homepage I'm analysing with CUpdater is www.gsgmbh.net . But when I get an update notification, a different URL (brelux, see also attachment) is shown. This is a problem of our site, I think, so in order to solve it I would like to know: From where (which file, database, whatever) does CUpdater take the name of the homepage? I would like to go to that file and change it.

Thank you,
kshine

I see that those 2 are the same pages? Are the domains pointing to the same server or how is that done?

CUpdater is executed when a user visits the page. If you have a user visiting brelux -> then the plugin is running on that domain and that is why in the email you have that url.

If the visitor is visiting gsgmbh when the plugin runs it should have the gsgmbh link.

Regards,
Daniel

This is the exact question: Are the domains the same page?

We administer the page www.gsgmbh.net for a company, but we never made a redirect from brelux - as this would be of no use for the company gsgmbh. We would like to remove the redirect from brelux, but we need to find out how to do it.

I thought the update messages from CUpdater are triggered by a timer (daily, weekly and so on) - but now I learn that visitors on the site trigger the update? Would CUpdater send me no e-mail when nobody visits the page?

Thanks,
Kevin
