TOPIC: My CMigrator Wishlist!

I think CMigrator is a great tool but it currently lacks the following :

- ability to directly import from a WP database (not having the tables in the same database as the joomla database),
- ability to delete WP posts & tags once done,
- ability to cron imports.

This would allow the use of some plugins on WP that do not exist on Joomla! to fetch content and inject in Joomla!

Well, I'm afraid that you want to use CMigrator in away it was never intended.

CMigrator solves the need that arises when you need to migrate a wordpress site to joomla. We don't try to synchronize content and there are currently not intention to do this.

The idea is pretty simple - migrate your wp site and forget about it. I don't want to deal with the complications that a synchronization can create - or deleting your posts and tags.
