Hi,

I just bought CMigrator and do the process but all my posts have the same created_by ID (404)
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi Carla,

This might happen if you didn't enable user migration or if those post are actually created with that user. Can you tell us the role of that user?

Also, you should check out in your WordPress/Drupal db who is the owner of those articles.

Cheers,
Petar

Hi Petar,

Thank you for the reply.
The CMS is WordPress and yes I enable the user migration.
The created_by ID 404 that CMigrator put in all the posts corresponds to Super User (admin) in Joomla! so it's wrong. Let me ask you something: what is the purpose of the tables jm_cmigrator_articles, jm_cmigrator_categories, jm_cmigrator_users, etc.? Because they are empty except jm_cmigrator_users and jm_cmigrator_configuration; maybe there's something wrong there.

Thank you!

Hey Carla,

That is strange... Those tables should be filled with migrated ids. You see, when you migrate some post from WordPress, post id with new Joomla id and parent id are written into cmigrator_articles table. Same thing is happening with other tables except cmigrator_configuration which stores configuration data you entered on making new configuration for migration. So, in your case, it seem only users are migrated? Maybe you used user migration only after regular migration? On every migration, those tables are getting empty and fill with new data for new migration. If you are still having problems, you should make a new ticket in our ticket system where you can provide us with your database so we can take a look and find the problem.

Best Regards,
Petar
