TOPIC: Migrator supports migration from Drupal 6 to JM25?

Hello Support and Everyone,

I am looking to migrate a website that is currently using Drupal 6 to Joomla 2.5, can CMigrator handle this or do I have to go through intermediate step of upgrade to Drupal 7 before the migrate?

If anyone has done this please share if there are additional steps or actions that must be taken not typical with general Drupal 7 to Joomla migration.

Hey Don,
You can try it, but I doubt that it will work. We always code against the latest version of drupal/wordpress.

Here is how I would proceed - I would grab the drupal6 db -> try to migrate it. If everything goes fine - huraaa you made it! If it doesn't go right, then make a copy of your drupal site, update it, get the db and try the migration again. This time it should work, but if it doesn't - just create a support ticket, give us a copy of your db and we'll go ahead and figure out what is going on for you.
