In the user guide, it says "Also, all of your images will be transferred to your media/images folder".

This is only copying, right?

Are there any changes to the existing (wp) website? I do not want to alter anything.

Yes, we look in the content of the posts and if we find an img tag we'll try to copy the image from the original site to your new joomla site. Here it is important to enter the correct domain name to the original site if you have relative paths to the images. If we find a relative path to an image, we'll prepend the domain name that you've entered in the cmigrator configuration and will try to access the image.

Even if we wanted, we cannot modify the original site. You have to copy the original tables in the joomla database. What we modify is the joomla site. So if you are using an existing joomla site you should be very careful, as we are wiping the content of that joomla site when we start the migration. But the original site we are transferring from is not affected in any way.

Thank you! I was just double-checking the term used in the guide.

I've already migrated data to a clean joomla install and it worked fantastically. I will begin parsing now.
