TOPIC: Import seems to stop on - Migration for categories

It all seems to fly along until the - Migration for categories started - bit and then i have left it for an hour with nothing apparently happening and it appears i have loads of new categories but no articles at all.
not much to go on i know but any suggestions ?

Go to your joomla's global config -> server -> error reporting. Set it to none. Try to migrate again. Does it complete then?

Thanks - tried that and its the same.
I didnt re export the DB from WP though, i just tried it again. If it goes wrong should you start everything again ?

Would you please start a private ticket and give me a copy of your WP database for testing?

doing that now and im trying to upload the WP database as requested, its obviously a .sql format and im getting :

Attachment upload error: This file type is not supported.

should i be using a different format ?

Just zip it and upload it.

It took me some time to figure that thing out... You have 64 categories and some of them have the same titles -> this leads to the same aliases... And when we reoder the joomla save method complains that the cats have the same aliases.

I fixed this and the import should work for you as expected now. Test the latest dev. release:
