TOPIC: Pages but not Posts

When I run the migrator, my Wordpress pages migrate properly, but none of my actual Wordpress posts migrate. Any suggestions?

Update:

Even though my installed version of CMigrator had the same version number of the latest version listed, I downloaded and installed the "latest version." This seems to have resolved the issue. I now see posts.

My eyes must have been crossing.... I still do not have Posts. Only pages migrate.

I too have the same problem. There was this error on import:

Warning : Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /administrator/components/com_cmigrator/library/migrators/wordpress.php on line 197


You can safely ignore "Failed! - Duplicate Key!" errors. Please verify first that the contents you imported are present in your Joomla site or not.

The reason is very simple: "Our documentation is wrong and we are late with the new release".

CMigrator cannot migrate the data from wordpress when the wordpress tables are in a different database than joomla's.

You will need to export your wordpress tables and import them in the joomla table. After that in the configuration screen - just enter the same data as you have in your configuration.php file -> click import and your data will be imported.

In the next version we will make it extremly clear that one need to import the wordpress tables in the joomla db in order for everything to work properly.

I have the same problem, bu i not understand the solution.

We've released CMigrator 0.3: compojoom.com/about/blog/entry/cmigrator...n-0-3-the-life-saver ! I think that things should be now way easier as you won't have to provide any db user and pass information. You just need to make sure that the wp tables are in the joomla db.
