Hi there

Received the email from Daniel re upgrading to version 4.0. We have to confess to being total novices at joomla 1.0 We created the www.stillgorgeous.com website with a developer who has now deserted us and left us in the lurch! We are ok at day to day uploading of content but are a little out of our depth with the technical stuff! We need to upgrade our joomlacomment 3.1.0 to version 4.0 but would be very grateful for any step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

Many thanks.

There are step by step instructions on the frontpage. The problem is that your site is made with joomla 1.0 and we no longer support joomla 1.0

Yeah, you have to stick with JoomlaComment 3 for Joomla 1.0. Updating from Joomla 1.0 > 1.5 is not a simple thing for a well-established website. We do offer Paid Support though - just so you know!

I have sent you a PM. It's only a rough estimate, it depends how large your database and home/ (or www/) folder is. And also how forgiving your server is... (we can provide additional paid hosting although mine is relatively budget, unless Daniel has some real estate- though I'm not sure).
