TOPIC: Upgrade from joomla comment 3.26 to 4.0.0RC1

Dear Daniel Dimitrov,

Hi, I upgraded joomlacomment v3.26 to v4.0.0RC1. I get this error message when I go to the comment page on my website.

!JoomlaComment template not found: default

(I tried reinstalling v3.26, which installs correctly and changing to a different template, uninstalling v3.26 again and reinstalling v4.0.0RC1 and I get the same message above (i.e. !JoomlaComment template not found: a different template layout).

Do you think that my database is remembering the default template from version 3.26.

Any help in resolving this matter will be appreciated.

Just go to the backend
components->joomlacomment->content settings->layout and choose the modern template from the dropdown box. Save and the frontend should work again.

As I said in the post - this release comes only with the modern template, because the other wants are just buggy and we couldn't find the time to fix them.
