TOPIC: Joomlacomment crashed my site

I don't know why but whenever I install Joomlacomment 3.26 then my site is crashed. It asked me to connect the author of component and say that the component, plugin need to be in legacy mode on but I turned on already the legacy mode. Please could you check the image following and advise what I can do to fix the problem

I learnt that the problem is that Joomlacomment conflicts with Frontpage Slide Show. After installing the JoomlaComment, the page contains the FPSS was crashed.

Can anybody give advice?

What is this extension for? Is it free or commercial?

Frontpage Slide Show is a commercial component. You can see it here joomlaworks.gr/ . Usually, I use the FPSS on my homepage, when installing Joomlacomment, the homepage was crashed but all other pages of the site are OK. But the site without homepage is nothing. Please take a look on that issue

Can you change the ajax library FPSS is using?

How can I do that? Please advice

I believe that I used the same extension for a site that I made one year ago - and I have in mind that in the options of this module there was a place where you could choose which ajax library to use.
I had template from rockettheme and with FPSS there were a lot of javascript errors because they were both using mootools.
And somewehre was an option to use jquery instead and everything went fine.

I did use the Jquery for FPSS, but the homepage is still crashed

Can you give us a link to see what you mean with crashed. Are there any error messages or what?

I am not professional guy then I don't know what is exactly the problem. Herewith you guys can find the configuration that I made in the module FPSS and it worked.

Choose Slideshow Engine? Jquery
Disable core library? No
Compress JS code using PHP? No
Use text transition effect? No
Cleanup HTML tags from text? No
