TOPIC: It's not working, please advise

I installed the joomlacomment4.0.0beta1.zip (I am using Joomla 1.5) and I got:

error when moving /var/www/vhosts/josiesquedesignsdev.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_comment/plugin/joscomment.php
TO /var/www/vhosts/josiesquedesignsdev.com/httpdocs/plugins/content/joscomment.php

So I coppied the file and put it where it said it needed it. I can go in to the settings. I selected to include my blog section (as shown in the movie tutorial)

But when I look at my blog there is nothing. I looked at the source code and I do not see any added code.

So, what do you think I should try now? Oh, and the first time I got the error etc I deleted all the files recomened in a previous post and installed the program again but had the same issue.

Why beta1, when there is beta2?

What I do normally when I have such a problem. I never managed to find the pattern.
Normally when you move the files it should start working, but sometimes it doesn't.

So the best thing would be to make all plugin folders, component etc writable. Uninstall the component and install it again. I know that you've wrote that you did that, but please try again. If it is still not working, then I would like to check it myself.

I went in and set permission (it was alrady 775, so I changed it to 777)

Uninstalled the blugin/componet and installed the .2 version.

I still had 4 files show up that were not moved, but I went in and did it by hand and how it is working!
