TOPIC: JOSC error after install Parse error: syntax error, unexpected

I installed successfully it seems (latest beta download) and commenting seems to work. But in the back end when I go to plugins and try to access any of the ijoomla choices I get an error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home4/internp8/public_html/fastnetnews/administrator/components/com_comment/toolbar.comment.html.php on line 29

Running latest Joomla on commercial shared server at Bluehost. Nothing obvious in other extensions that seems helpful

Servers running PHP4 are unsupported.

Daniel if you read this, please consider adding a hard check to the Beta 2 release to abort installing unless PHP5 is installed

No offence to you at all Dave, Daniel made the mistake of not adding "Requires PHP 5!" to the readme or anything And we get a LOT of users reporting the exact same error.
