I installed !JoomlaComment 3.26 to my Joomla! 1.5.8, and process went just fine. I can see the "Write Comment" links on my front-page blog entries. However, when I click on those links, or try to access any of the blog articles, I get the following message:

404 - Component not found

You may not be able to visit this page because of:

1. an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
2. a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
3. a mistyped address
4. you have no access to this page
5. The requested resource was not found.
6. An error has occurred while processing your request.

Please try one of the following pages:

* Home Page

If difficulties persist, please contact the System Administrator of this site.

Component not found

I've double checked my settings, I've included the comment system on the right pages and I've watched the video on installation. Nothing seems to be working.

I would be very happy to hear some advise ...

...Thanks, Ricky

Hm, I don't think that has something to do with our component. Is your blog pages there? Are the links really right? Please check this in menu manager (did you select the right categories for the blog pages in menu manager?)

Well, this wasn't happening before I installed the component, and the links are correct. To make sure, I'll use this to troubleshoot. Is there a safe way to turn off the component?

The problem was rooted elsewhere. The comment system was just taking on the bug.

Thanks!
