Hi

I installed joomla comment on my PC and it worked great. However, when I installed it on my host, there was a problem in the installation (something regarding permissions, which I didn't write down). Now, when I try to uninstall, I get: Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found.
I saw a different thread regarding uninstallation problems so I followed it and deleted the relevant folders and SQL tables, but still I can't manage to uninstall it

Thanks in advance

Mike

Well, if you have deleted the right folders and executed the SQL querys, then it should be uninstalled. (you should not see it in backend)

Thanks for the quick reply

Although I removed all relevant things it still stayed there. However, I re-installed it and now it seems to be fine. I am encountering a new strange problem now. Whenever I try to edit the joomla content setting, I receive:

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Client sent malformed Host header

This does not happen when I try edditing anything else in joomla.

Do you have any idea what is wrong?

Thanks

Mike

Can you find something in the error log. Perhaps you can disable the content plugin so we can find out if !jocomment is causing this.

Ok, I will check. For the meanwhile, is there a place where I can manually edit my settings?

Thanks
