Is it possible to change the wording of "Only registered users can write comments!" when a non-registered user clicks on "Write Comment?"

Just look for the phrase in the language file and change it :)

Be sure to save the file in UTF-8!

Hello

Thanks for this fantastic module.

I have been trying to change "Only registered users...." using FTP and also control panel of server. But unable to change it. File are the same as usual after several attempts. I know how to do writable file. but nothing happened. Any advice will be really appreciated.

So you change the file on your machine, but you can not upload it on the server? Do I understand that right?

thanks for your prompt reply.

I tried in 2 ways.

1. I downloaded English lang file to my machine by means of core ftp. I modified on note pad and saved with utf8 and uploaded. ( that is the way what i normally do file modifications several times before). The result was unable to upload. repeatedly asking to upload again and again

2. so i went to control pane of serverl. I opened files and tried to edit on built in editor. error message again, saying time out.

I also change particular folder and file permission to writeable. no luck

In fact, in my knowledge, similar thing happened before when I tried to edit web based RSS feeder integrated on my website.

thanks

It seems to me that the problem you are having has nothing to do with !jocomment. I would recommend contacting you server support and asking them for assistance.
