My site has some moderators without access to backend, and as defence from spammers or bad guys, I can propose only to delete "bad" comments. But I guess that in some cases these comments must be analysed by administrator.
So it is very good idea to unpublish comments and/or ban spammers from front-end. There must be corresponding buttons for this.
Also it is very useful to make IP address in comment as link to WHOIS server. As variant you may link to _ttp://whatismyip.com/tools/ip-address-lookup.asp

Hey Yuri,
That are things that are already on our to do list. Personally I would like to make a trash for the comments. So when you click on delete - the comment is not really deleted, but rather the delete field is set to 1. Then you would be able to find the comment in the trash and delete it.

And the thing with publish and unpublish is something that I would also like to see :D. I hate when I have to log in into the backend and do this :)
