I'd like to propose the following

1. Option to disable or enable subject field when making comments
2. Ability to add HTML code when making comments so users can add youtube links, etc
3. When replying to comments, Username should be included before comment with text such as "username said:" so we know who made the comment (inside the box, it's outside now)
4. Place new line before inserted reply-to comment. Saves you a step of hitting enter in the text box
5. If possible, create link to each individual comment
6. CB integration is great. If you can have a CB plugin like yvComment so new comments can be shown in the user profile it would be great :cheer:

I'll agree with number 1 :)

It's pretty easy to do yourself, just edit the template and remove {title} :)

2. Ability to add HTML code when making comments so users can add youtube links, etc

While easy enough to implement, I don't think it will ever ever ever happen as it's a massive security risk. The exact reason why we have this UBBCode is so the vulnerabilities of HTML that any script-kiddie can enter to hack the entire site and userbase will not have any effect :)

3. When replying to comments, Username should be included before comment with text such as "username said:" so we know who made the comment (inside the box, it's outside now)

This more 'Web2.0 style' will be easily visible in some of the new Templates comming soon :)

4. Place new line before inserted reply-to comment. Saves you a step of hitting enter in the text box

Could you try and explain that again? I don't quite follow

5. If possible, create link to each individual comment

Will probably come with the 'Numbered Comments' feature request (each number will be hyperlinked). I assume this would be for the purpose of perma-linking? You can make your own links for now with a simple anchor parameter, for example - myarticle.html#josc48 where 48 is the commentID number.

6. CB integration is great. If you can have a CB plugin like yvComment so new comments can be shown in the user profile it would be great :cheer:

It's planned ;)

Thanks so much for the reply and can't wait for the new features :D

To explain item #4 again: When you reply, the original comment is placed in the editor already for you. This works great but it would be nice if you added a newline before inserting the quoted text. Hope that made sense and thanks again for all your hard work!

Really? Wow - when did this change happen, is it new with Beta 2? I personally couldn't stand that - I hope there's an option to turn it off! I don't want my "Reply to Comment" to be identical to a "Forum Quote" function

Well we can wait for Daniels' feedback on these now :)

It hasn't happened but I'd like the option to be there :)

Could you please explain in more detail how I can remove the subject field. Because when I search for {title} in (/components/com_comment/joscomment/templates/modern/css/standard.css)
I can't find it.

Look for {title} in /components/com_comment/joscomment/templates/modern/index.html ;)
