TOPIC: voting modification request

Hello and thank you for your nice component|

I have just installed joomlacomment and so far looks excellent. I have just a couple of requests, or maybe they are already possible and I simply have not figured it out...

I would ike the voting to also be 'negative' so for example a rating can show a negative result if it is being judged very poorly, or even something like the rating that is possible for the comments themselves (thumbs up thumbs down)
Also, would like to know if it is possible to disable the commenting and just leave the voting ( I already have a forum on the site so the comments would kinf overlap as the forum also is for discussions of businesses presented in the articles), or alternatively, if it would be possible somehow (I am not a tech so maybe it is a stupid question) to have the commetns limited in size and appear in the latestnews mod?

OK, I have installed the mod to show the latest comments which is EXACTLYone of the additions I was looking for, however after installing it , the voting stars have disappeared!!

My other requests remain;o)

our component doesn't provide any voting stars.
You can vote for every comment with thumbs up and down. If you have more thumbs down, then you will have a negative vote.

If you don't see the thumbs for voting, then check if only registered are enabled to write comments - that means that you will have to log in to vote.

Bumping this old thread for a reason

I think what he means Daniel is a skin that, instead of two numbers - one for Yes votes and another for No votes - to have one combined number for all votes. For example, if a comment was rated 2 good but 4 bad, it'd have one number of -2.

Anyway, on that note, all of the Premium Templates I create will have this behavior. They will also have ability to "fold up" (hide) comments when they reach a certain negative number.
