Hi there,

I can't setup JoomSEF and !JoomlaComment properly ..

My site config:
Joomla 1.5.7
!JoomlaComment 3.26
JoomSEF v3.2.0

after I click on SEND button it shows arrows for about 2s ..
then it disappears and no new post is shown ..
I have to press F5 and then I can see my new post ..

then I turned AJAX support off - so now it works but I couldn't see Reply, Edit and Delete links and Votes as well

cheers

www.betvega.com/super-bowl-odds.html

I'm having the same issue. Users are hitting the submit button 10 or 20 times because they don't see any change on the page. Then they leave frustrated. Mean while, I view the page later and see hundreds of multiple posts and I'm frustrated as hell too.

I've been trying to hack the code to find a way to notify the user or to limit the number of posts that a user can make in a row, but nothing's working.

hey there jonathon! You have deleted the index2.php that resides in your joomla directory. Please restore this file and then I believe that our extension will work.

Nope I didn't delete index2.php from the root folder.

I've uploaded a new version of the file to ensure that it was not damaged. Is there any way that I can add a "thank you for posting" message? would that be easier to do?

Hey jonathon!
Here is the response the extension get from your server:

www.betvega.com/index2.php 404 File NOT FOUND

The only problem is that the extension doesn't find the index2.php - you must look around that. Open the log file and look there for more info.

Message - thank you for posting is not necessary, because if ajax works - the user will see immediately his comment like in the demo section on our web site.
