TOPIC: Problem with germany

hi.

i got some problems with the comments from front-end...

i use the ajax-funktion to easiely and fast answer some commetns.
but if the comment got's a special char like äöü it cut it right at this position.
if i update the comment in backend all works fine!

what can i do to avoid this behavior in frontend?

Could you check the table collation and field collation.
It sounds strange that it is working from backend, but not through the frontend.
