TOPIC: Captcha won't load

My captcha doesn't load 9 out of 10 times...

(Also, when trying to register on this forum the register link on the main page doesn't work [produces a 404 error])

what does 9 out of 10 times mean? DO you get the text or not?

I also so that you don't have index2.php in your joomla root directory - you need this if you want joomlacomment 3.26 to work.

I have the same problem. There is no Captcha to see to write in the box. I try reloading it and nothing seems to happen. Is there a fix for this?

Do you guys try to at least search the forum before posting about problems that have only several causes and as much solutions?

What use is that to post? Considering this topic is the first result in google for joomlacomment captcha wont load do you not think it'd be better answering the question here so other people can find it. I don't use forum search engines - they're useless.

9 out of 10 times means exactly what it sounds like. If I continually refresh the captcha text will occasionally (~1/10 times) load.

I've already checked the other threads on the forums. It's not a GD Library problem as you can see by this output
It's also not permissions as I have Joomla setup though FTP with owner access over the directory.

What use is that to post? - there is no use, because nobody reads before writing. I'm just pissed off! It cannot be that you guys start a post without reading. I spend my time answering the same questions over and over again. Do you respect my time and efforts to help you?

where is the link to your website? Where is the joomla version, php version, database version? Link to your webpage? I had to find those things looking at your image.

Plus - you didn't read my response! The index2.php file is still missing from your joomla root directory.

Another thing 3.26 is outdated and there is a security vulnerability in it.

P.S. Don't get me wrong - I wish to help you and everyone else - look at my post number - I spend my time helping everyone! But sometimes I get pissed and sharing the negative energy with the users is important :D:D

anyway check this index2.php file - you need one.
