Hello.
This error became an issue now with the RC1 upgrade. Never had it with the previous version.
I get the "request failed" message box in Firefox, IE behaves the same way (long time to load after submitting message and no sign of the comment until you reload the site) but no error box.
I also noticed that there now appears two zero's ("00")at the bottom right field of previous entered messages.

The problem has been discussed with previous versions, so has anyone found a definite solution for this yet?

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall to no use.

edit: Site in question is www.pompey.no

I can not test the comments because you have comments to registered only, registration is disabled, and you have not given us a test account to login with.

Go to the backend and choose another template. Don't use your customized one!

Also if you have a live_site variable in your joomla configuration change it to ''

Thanks for answering!

No variable in the config there, also, changing template is not an option, although changing to the default rhuk_milkyway one seems to solve the problem...
However, it was never a problem before the latest update. Oh well.

Not the Joomla template, but the template for the !JoomlaComments.
Take a look at the backend variables, you will see templates.

Choose Modern.

Ok. That made the trick! But why? The only thing I altered was the header image file...strange.
