Just thought I'd make an update info post about the issue I had concerning the Redevo template and !JoomlaComment 4.0 installation.

Recap:
My site came to a grinding hault with this combination. Redevo - Grinding hault

My server manager informed me that the RAID wasn't working either, although everything seemed to be normal.
He then looked around, and found that the PSU (Power Supply) was too low to get this stuff all working comfortably.
Since it was always attempting to get itself all working, the Server was of course exhausted almost on a continuous basis.

So, the PSU got beefed up, the RAID took a while to update itself, and now the Redevo template with everything is working fine.

So my problem here had nothing to do with any of the above items, it just happened to be this combination that overloaded an already overloaded system.
It would have done the same no-matter what I was going to try at this point.

Ah this is good Nils! Can I ask if your webhost is a big company or a private one? My guess is they are only newish and were just due for this upgrade.

Well, it's my private server, which is run by my brother a few hundred meters from my house.

But, he is actually pro with server stuff, and is Cisco sertified etc.
He helps build firewalls etc for banks and stuff over here.

So this was an oversight.
Well, that's the short version, as one of the hard disks crashed a few months back etc. So the PSU was temporary, and got forgotten etc.
