TOPIC: JOOMLACOMMENT_UBB_WROTE not working

1:) Apart from my previous note concerning the mix of size and other styles, this is also something I just noticed.

To Quote someone gives the coded response field of: JOOMLACOMMENT_UBB_WROTE which is not being handled correctly.
This function just seems to give this code being shown, regardless of which language I try, instead of the word "WROTE".

I tried looking at the classes file, but that is completely different to previous versions, so I didn't touch it, incase it leads to another XSS thingy.

2.) Also, I noticed someone else saying something about removing the Powered by at the bottom, and he couldn't get it removed.
Same here.
Not a big problem, it just looks a bit clumbsy when there are suddenly Powered by !JoomlaComments AND Powered by Schlu on pages such as Events at the same time. Then this just seems wrong.

You cannot remove powered by? You just go in the template and delete the text and ready.

About the UBB_WROTE - I saw the problem. I'm working on joomlacomment 4.1 and there we use the standard joomla function JText::_('JOOMLACOMMENT_UBB_WROTE') to output the language string, but in 4.0 it should be just _JOOMLACOMMENT_UBB_WROTE

I must finally update the release over the weekend. I just don't want to release it like 4.0 beta3 I would prefer more 4.0 stable or so...

P.S. Nils do you want to become moderator on the forum? I need someone that could bring a little bit live to the project and make other people contribute

We should release a Beta3 (or RC1) of it though soon anyway just so we have that new UBBCode class in there...

...and yeah I've been meaning to dig through the forums and test every little bug that every user ever mentioned (lol) because yeah we are in Beta right now and that means no new feature additions and only bugfixing right? All the new features are going towards 4.1

I would love to be a Moderator...
But I am not a programmer. Just developed in the cut/paste department. Then again, problems are often from Newbies that have exactly this kind of use, as programmers do the fixes themselves.

By removing the text and ready in the template, then the link over goes away. So I'll leave it for now, and wait for the next release.

I suspected the UBB_WROTE would be fixed as long as it was noticed.

I was working on the ubbcode yesterday evening with Jonus on ubbcode and we have fixed most of the problems in code. If we put another several hours over the weekend than we'll have our next version.

P.S. About the moderator thing - nobody said that you should be a developer. You just should wish to help the other guys and don't panic Also don't shout at the other users and don't abuse your power
