TOPIC: Cant submit comment whith a changed index file

As the topic says the submit button stops working if I've made any change at all to the code in the index.html file. It doesn't seem to matter how minor the change is, since just making the comment input box a bit taller broke the submit button. Any help on this would be appriciated.

I use Joomlacomment 4.0 beta 2 and the akostyle template btw.

Did you modify the file with an utf8 capable editor such as pspad?

No I edited it with the simple ftp editor. Gonna try a utf8 editor, thanks

DId you try to edit unedited index.html file?

Yes, I tried with a fresh index.html every time. The unedited file works fine!

post the changes you are making here in the forum. I will edit the file and post it back.

The file was set to "UTF-8 without BOM", so I converted it to just UTF-8 and it did the job. So it's working now! Thanks for your help man, your support is great as always. When my site start generating some income I'll make a donation for sure.
