TOPIC: Spacing between edit buttons?

I'm using JoomlaComment 4.0.2 beta, which is working well except for one cosmetic thing. In a posted comment, there's no space at all between the edit buttons. They appear as ReplyQuoteEditDelete, all run together. (I'm using the default template.)

I've spent two hours looking at the code trying to figure out how to fix this, but I don't know anything about JavaScript, so I don't know how to control the way it displays.

What I want to do is add a space between the buttons, and perhaps a dash, so they appear as Reply - Quote - Edit - Delete. How can I do this?

Would you change the template to the modern one?

It already is -- when it was installed, template was set to modern and CSS to compojoom, and I haven't changed it since installation.

Man, this is not the modern template what you are using!
The modern template is based on lists and not on tables.
Right now you are using a customized template based on the default one:
media/myjosctemplates/mydefault-emotop/css/css.css

Ahah, I still had it set to custom template (inherited from the previous 3.26 I was using). That appears to have done the trick.

ETA: Yes, that looks much better. No wonder it was messed up.
